Experience

  • Data contract management tooling and processes built upon GitOps & Confluent Schema Registry integration as a dependable base for ongoing data platform development efforts
  • Custom built responsive web interface based on Bootstrap 4, Javascript and Python Flask to ease the presentation of data contracts and schema evolution, later used as a diagnostics tool by other team members
  • Used Jsonnet to automate and solve the issue of efficient GitOps secret management for ETL workflows, later expanded usage to other types of manifests and applications

First of all, the audience and management of the whole conference was great. Really loved the opportunity to share what I and many others have been working on. I had a fantastic time talking with many other unbelievably inspirational and knowledgeable speakers and audience members - from technical to business
  • Participation in a literature reading club, touching on topics like team structure and management [Team Topologies], development architectural decisions [Clean Architecture] and data appreciation at scale [Data Mesh]
  • Mentoring of a high school student for two weeks of IT study internship
    • work preparation, daily feedback and in-person lectures
    • subjects like software lifetime and environment, dynamic and static analysis of software, management of software teams, reproducible deployment through containerization and general tips on Python development
